The season might be over but…….

There was quite a bit of basketball going on.

Saturday saw the girls in the Cavan area represent their county in the inaugural Inter-Regional Tournament held in Virginia College. The girls were coached by East Cavan Eagles coaches Padhraig McEvoy and Carol Verschoyle.

On Sunday it was time for Community Games with our club well represented in both the Lurgan and Castlerahan basketball teams by both players and coaches. It was a long day for some starting at 9:30 and continuing until 19:00, we would like to thank the players and their parents for sticking with it.

Sunday also saw some of Under 14 boys represent their county in their inter-regional tournament in Monaghan. Unfortunately we don’t have an photographs from that but I hear that they all did very well.

I think that is the end of basketball for this season, but we will be back!!

Thanks for all your support throughout our first year.
