Club Registration:

East Cavan Eagles Basketball Club has been accepting registration on line since May 31st and have already received quite a number of registration by this means, however we will be holding a open registration evening and it should be noted that even if you have registered on line you will still need to attend the registration evening.

The registration evening is taking place on Friday 16th August 2013 at 5PM in Virginia College.

The registration will coincide with the last day of our pre-season camp for you convenience.

You will be advised of your teams training times after the registration evening by text. We foresee most training & games taking place in Virginia College for the coming season.

Pre-season training will commence on Sunday August 25th in Virginia College, and again you will be advised of the pre-season training by text.

Pre- Season/Summer Camp:

After the great success of our Easter Basketball Camp, we will be holding a pre-season/summer basketball camp starting on Monday 12th August in Virginia College.

The camp will take much the same programme as our previous camps and will once again feature David Baker of Dublin Thunder and his team. David will just be back from working with the NBA summer leagues training camps, so I’m sure he will be full of new ideas!

We will however be limiting the numbers we accept on the camp this time around. Places on the camp will be offered to club members only initially and only if there is a shortfall will it be opened to other clubs in the area. We expect the camp to be limited to approx 80 participants. This limitation we feel is necessary to ensure all participants get full value from the camp, we simply do not have the resources at this time to work with more that this number.

Once again the registration evening will take place directly after the camps closing presentations.

The committee would once again like to thank all the parents and players in our club. your support throughout out first season has been incredible.
